Role Playing Odyssey takes place in a time era known to role players as "Steam Punk". Where technology has taken it's normal course and there are Planes, Trains, Automobiles and other high tech devices. However there are still castles, kingdoms, and realms filled with everything you can possibly imagine. To give you an example, it is much like Final Fantasy VII.

Basically, you're saying it's most modern or slightly more advanced, however some people still prefer and hold on to older traditions such as medivel and fantasy. Therefore, it is a combination of magic, swordplay, and guns. Very suitable to the needs of many people. It's a dimensional collision.

Such things can cause a much more decisive roleplaying environment, people need not wonder or care or worry what they will say.

What did I say? Erm yeh. Well simple enough: Feel free to be modern or middle aged when you make your character, or combine them.

Wow we're stuck in a mixed time period. I dont know what time period id be in....my weapons are kinda like old school and uh....oh i dont know im just a kid!

If you've played Arcanuim, you'd understand. It's basically that only with even MORE advanced stuff. We got swords, axes, magic spells, fairies, muskets, cannons, catapults, assault rifles, atom bombs, even futuristic lasers and power generators. Let's put together Arcanium, Everquest, Final Fantasy, Rainbow 6, and Command and Conquer for this one. That's basically all I can say.

"as a" It's ONLY for the computer. I have it too, it's like a REAL RPG. Not that Diablo crap. In this, you can attack anything. I call myself the Shrouded Hills murderer cus I murdered two merchants, half their guard force, and Constable Owens. Hated that town anyways.

you know what either you spelt it wrong or i dont have arcanium. I have a game called Arcanum Of Steamworks And Magick Obscura, i ono if thats the Arcanium we talking bout here....

Xypon, yes that's it. Steamworks, Obscura. The cover for mine says Arcanium for some reason, but it's called Arcanum. Must be a misprint.

And my character is uber, he's like unkillable. So go give it a try :P
